Who we are

APOSTL (“we”, “us”) provides software for managing private-market holdings, special-purpose vehicles, and secondary transactions, available at apostl.app. Contact: daniel@danielmolloy.com.

Data we process

  • Account data — your email address and role, used to sign you in and scope what you can see.
  • Portfolio data — companies, vehicles, positions, transactions, and documents entered into the platform by your firm.
  • WhatsApp messages — if you message an APOSTL WhatsApp number, we receive and store the message content, your phone number, and your WhatsApp profile name via the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. Message text (and attached documents) are processed by an AI model to extract deal information, which is stored alongside the original message.

How we use it

Solely to operate the product: authenticating users, displaying firm portfolios, turning inbound messages into structured deal records, and notifying firm members of activity. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Where it lives

Data is hosted with Supabase (database and file storage) and Vercel (application hosting). Message text is sent to an AI inference provider (Nebius) for extraction and is not used to train models. WhatsApp delivery is provided by Meta Platforms under their own terms.

Retention

Messages and extracted records are kept while the associated firm account is active, or until deletion is requested.

Data deletion

To have your data deleted — including any WhatsApp messages you have sent to an APOSTL number, your phone number, and records derived from them — email daniel@danielmolloy.com from the affected account or phone number with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
